In Stenbjerg Plantage, the route includes past large treeless plains and charred tree remains that testify to a major forest fire in 2004.
You can take a break at Faddersbøl Mill to eat the packed lunch.
If there is time, you can take a detour to the bird tower at Aalvand Klithede. Here there are good opportunities to see red deer and cranes.
