Nystrup is more than just a place to sleep. It’s a place to be. A place with campfires, a playground, surf vibes, handwritten signs, green corners and facilities that make camping life just a little more enjoyable.

Some come for the sea and the nature, others for the peace and quiet, the sense of community or the closeness to Cold Hawaii. To us, the campsite is just as much about atmosphere as it is about practicalities – about creating a place you actually want to spend time in, not just somewhere to stay overnight.

Soul in the details

One of the things many guests notice about Nystrup is that it doesn’t feel like something ordered straight from a catalogue.

Around the campsite you’ll find handwritten signs, handmade details and small touches that give the place its character. Even our older service buildings have been freshened up with graffiti, green plants, music and an atmosphere that makes everyday camping feel a little nicer.

In the centre of the campsite, you’ll find our new service building with family bathrooms, a shared kitchen, laundry facilities, a dog wash and great amenities for both campers and motorhomes.

You’ll also find free Wi-Fi throughout the campsite, making it easy to plan your next outing, check the weather forecast or share a holiday photo back home. We believe camping should feel simple and down to earth – but there’s nothing wrong with it feeling a little nicer, too.

Room for both community and peace and quiet

At Nystrup, there’s room for both. You’ll find campfire spots, a fire hut, a playground and small meeting points where children make new friends and adults naturally start chatting. But there’s also shelter, green corners and places where you can retreat with your morning coffee and simply listen to the wind in the trees.

From the campsite, it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the North Sea, Cold Hawaii and the town of Klitmøller. You can grab your surfboard, hop on your bike, go for a walk in the woods or head out for an ice cream, a coffee or a trip to the beach.
