With mosquito nets, cozy mattresses, and nearby access to water, our new shelter accommodation is perfect for a snug outdoor adventure with a touch of luxury.
In our shelters, you’ll sleep under the stars, with space for up to four people on comfortable mattresses. As night falls, a string of fairy lights creates a magical, cozy atmosphere—making your stay in nature truly special. Each shelter is equipped with a mosquito net and a sturdy canvas cover for extra protection from the wind and insects. Inside, you’ll find power outlets for charging phones and other devices.
Right outside your shelter, your own private wooden deck awaits—quiet and secluded. Settle into one of the two lounge chairs and enjoy the birdsong and the scent of the forest—perhaps with a morning coffee or a good book. In the evening, you can gather around your own firepit, where firewood is already provided for you.
A short staircase leads from your shelter down to our newly built communal house, where you’ll find kitchen facilities, toilets, and showers—free for you to use whenever you like. That way, you stay close to nature without giving up the comforts that make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.
Just 500 meters from the roaring waves of the North Sea, with breathtaking sunsets and direct access to hiking and biking trails through the pine-covered landscape of Thy National Park, The Nest offers the perfect chance to experience North Jutland’s wild beauty up close.
