Red deer can be experienced all year round in Thy National Park.
Herds of over 200 animals are not unusual.
In the spring, the animals are seen out on the farmer’s fields to eat the fresh green crops.
In the month of June they are seen with their newborn calves.
In the rut season, it is an unforgettable experience to hear the roar of the red deer at sunset.
