Klitmøller
The surfers discovered the area around Klitmøller already in the 1980s, and in the early 1990s some Danish surfers began to settle there.
Today, Klitmøller is world famous, as the capital of Cold Hawaii – the surfers’ paradise.
Klitmøller is also a cozy fishing village and a lively seaside resort with a nice beach.
The town has delightful dining options and also small cozy shops.
The well preserved, old fishing houses in Klitmøller indicate the great period of trade in the past.
Klitmøller are pronounced with pressure on møller and not on Klit, as many, not locals, pronounce it! 😉
